Practically, this platform can be used by individuals for self-learning or by institutions as part of training programs. These findings also provide input for platform developers to improve content and teaching methods.
2026-01-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Hariril Fikri, Mulyadi, Rosta Minawati https://journal.antispublisher.id/index.php/EJLHSS/article/view/1637 AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP STYLE IN OPTIMIZING FINANCING MANAGEMENT AT THE INTERPRENEUR ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL IN WEST SUMATRA AND THE IBADURRAHMAN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL IN BELADING RIAU PROVINCE 2026-01-15T18:28:21+00:00 Yuni Fitri yunifr6@gmail.com Su'aidi suaidi@gmail.com Iskandar iskandar@gmail.com
Objective: The model of authentic leadership in optimizing educational funds at the Payakumbuh Entrepreneur Islamic Boarding School, West Sumatra, and Ibadurrahman Belading Islamic Boarding School, Riau Province. These two Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions of Islam that offer free education to orphans, the poor, and underprivileged students, most of whose funds come from zakat (obligatory giving), infaq (voluntary giving), alms, and community endowments. Method: This is a descriptive qualitative study with the type of field research. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study, while the data validity was examined by using triangulation from sources and techniques. Results: Research findings show conclusively that authentic leadership practiced by the leadership of Islamic boarding schools is used as a variable that has a very large influence on the optimization of educational funding management. This can be seen from the use of four dimensions of authentic leadership, which are self-awareness, internalized moral perspective, relational transparency, and balanced information processing. The principals of Islamic boarding schools can develop a transparent, accountable, and professional financial management system so that donors will have trust, and Islamic boarding school funds become sustainable. Furthermore, authentic leadership is also known to encourage the productive use of zakat funds by establishing Islamic Boarding School business units and student entrepreneurship programs that can help strengthen the economic independence of institutions and students. Novelty: Based on the findings, this study confirms that Authentic Leadership is a critically important asset in the successful effort of optimizing the funding of education (pesantren)-based Islamic boarding schools from zakat, and it is believed to be an appropriate leadership model to sustain free education and economic empowerment for the community.
2026-01-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Yuni Fitri, Su'aidi, Iskandar https://journal.antispublisher.id/index.php/EJLHSS/article/view/1636 TOWARDS THE LAST PLATE: NEGOTIATION OF MINANGKABAU WOMEN'S BODY AND THE PLATE SYMBOL IN CONTEMPORARY DANCE 2026-01-15T18:26:37+00:00 Mentari Fahreza fahrezamentari@gmail.com Ali Sukri sukridancetheatre@gmail.com
Objective: The dance work "Menuju Piring Terakhir" (Towards the Last Plate) is a rethinking of Minangkabau collective memory in contemporary times that seeks to explore the contradiction between the high status enjoyed by Minangkabau women as Bundo Kanduang and their limited autonomy over their own bodies. Method: This research seeks to describe how the body is a site of cultural negotiation symbolically embodied in relation to fragile objects, like plates that are symbolic conveyors of ancestral-based values and collective memory. Combining Practice-Based Research (PBR) and experimental choreography, this investigation looks at embodied knowledge unfolding in the creative process, a change from withholding to rupture; a reconstruction of identity. Results: Seemingly complete but inherently fragile, the plate serves as a metaphor for women’s cultural status: kept and venerated but susceptible to pressure. Stepping into the plate, watching it break, and collecting its pieces becomes a performative act of contemplation instead of destruction. The results of the study show that smashing the final plate constitutes a climax of emotional resistance, and gathering up its pieces signals an attempt to reweave a torn-to-pieces identity. Novelty: This helps to clarify the situation of contemporary dance as a critical locus of tradition, gender, and embodiment.
2026-01-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Mentari Fahreza, Ali Sukri https://journal.antispublisher.id/index.php/EJLHSS/article/view/1644 SUSTAINABLE CONTROL INTEGRATING ESG METRICS IN TO INTERNAL CONTROL MECHANISMS TO PROMOTE GREEN AND SOCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY 2026-01-15T18:24:33+00:00 Zaky Ul Ilmi zakiulilmi@gmail.com Sufyan sofyan.ars@gmail.com
Objective: This study aims to explore the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into internal control mechanisms, specifically focusing on the development of sustainable controls within organizations. Method: The research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing library (literature) research and qualitative content analysis with a thematic method. The analysis involves iterative and monotonous reading to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the documents reviewed. Results: The findings indicate that the Sustainable Control Concept Model (Stage 1) develops a system derived from traditional internal control, structured around ESG principles. ESG metrics are identified as critical operational control tools, with integration success depending on material selection, measurability (SMART), and alignment with performance management systems, such as the Balanced Scorecard. Additionally, governance reforms, particularly in the roles of the board and audit committees, are necessary for effective green and social accountability. Effective sustainability controls are linked to improved operational performance, enhanced reputation, and long-term value creation. Novelty: This study contributes a model that bridges the gap between qualitative ESG criteria and quantitative internal control systems, offering new insights into the role of internal audits in ensuring sustainability effectiveness.
2026-01-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Zaky Ul Ilmi, Sufyan
