PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF DEVELOPING CREATIVITY AND INNOVATIVE THINKING

Objective: This article examines the psychological characteristics of developing creativity and innovative thinking in the context of modern education and professional activity. Method: The study analyzes the cognitive, emotional, and motivational factors that contribute to the development of creative potential and innovative thinking. Results: Findings suggest that the development of innovative thinking enhances intellectual activity, independence, problem-solving abilities, and overall personal and professional effectiveness. Novelty: Particular attention is paid to the psychological mechanisms underlying creative processes, including imagination, cognitive flexibility, reflection, divergent thinking, and intrinsic motivation. The article also explores the influence of educational environments, social support, and personal characteristics on the formation of creativity and innovation-oriented behavior. The results highlight the importance of establishing supportive psychological and educational conditions that encourage creative self-expression and innovation. The conclusions of this study may serve as a theoretical and practical basis for designing educational programs aimed at strengthening creative competencies and preparing individuals for the demands of a knowledge-based and innovation-driven society.
